1. Scope

These general terms and conditions (GTC) apply to all orders and deliveries made via the website www.beckathome.ch ( hereinafter referred to as "provider") between SwissBeck AG and consumers (B2C). The provider delivers bread and other baked goods from local bakeries directly to the customer's mailbox. Deviating conditions of the customer will not be recognized unless the provider expressly agrees to their validity in writing.

2. Contracting party

The contract is concluded between the customer and SwissBeck AG, with registered office at Vorderi Böde 2a, CH-5452 Oberrohrdorf. For questions and complaints, please contact our customer service by email at hello@beckathome.ch

3. Offer and conclusion of contract

The presentation of the products on www.beckathome.ch does not constitute a legally binding offer, but rather an invitation to order. By submitting the order by clicking on the "Buy now" button, the customer makes a binding offer to conclude a purchase contract. The contract is only concluded when the provider confirms this by email.

4. Prices and shipping costs

The prices shown on the website include VAT. Shipping costs are shown for each order.

5. Delivery conditions

  1. Delivery area : The provider delivers bread and baked goods to selected geographical regions in Switzerland. The delivery areas are specified on the website and are regularly expanded.
  2. Delivery times : Deliveries are made on defined days and at defined times as stated in the webshop. Unless otherwise stated, the delivery will be in the mailbox by 11:00 a.m. on the day of delivery at the latest. To guarantee correct delivery, the mailbox must be located and labeled as stated in the delivery address.
  3. Transfer of risk : The risk of loss or damage to the goods is transferred to the customer upon delivery to the customer's mailbox. The provider assumes no liability for damage or loss that occurs after delivery to the mailbox.

6. Terms of payment

Payment for the goods can be made by credit card, TWINT or PayPal. The provider reserves the right to exclude certain payment methods in individual cases.

7. Retention of title

Ownership of the delivered goods shall only pass to the customer upon full payment of the purchase price.

8. Right of withdrawal and cancellation

Due to the nature of the products offered (food), there is no right of withdrawal. Orders cannot be cancelled or returned after the order process has been completed.

9. Liability for defects and warranty

  1. The provider guarantees the flawless delivery of the ordered goods to the customer’s mailbox.
  2. The provider is not liable for any loss of quality or damage that occurs after delivery to the mailbox, such as due to weather conditions, animals or other external influences.
  3. If the goods are defective upon delivery, the customer can complain within 24 hours of receiving the delivery. In such cases, the provider reserves the right to provide a replacement delivery or a refund at its own discretion.

10. Limitation of Liability

The provider is liable for damages caused by intentional or grossly negligent behavior on the part of the provider. In all other cases, the provider's liability is limited to the typically foreseeable damage. The provider is not liable for damages that occur after delivery in the mailbox.

11. Data Protection

The collection and processing of personal data takes place exclusively within the framework of the legal provisions. Detailed information can be found in our separate data protection declaration www .beckathome .ch.

12. Applicable law and place of jurisdiction

All disputes arising from this contractual relationship are subject exclusively to Swiss law. The place of jurisdiction is the registered office of SwissBeck AG in CH-5452 Oberrohrdorf.

13. Final provisions

Should individual provisions of these terms and conditions be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. The invalid provision shall be replaced by the statutory regulation.
